On behalf of the Afro Brazilian Cultural Center of New Jersey & Capoeira Guerreiros we would like to formally

 everyone who came to or supported our 3rd Batizado & Troca de Corda on June 20, 2009.  The Batizado was held in Montclair, New Jersey at the Montclair Art Museum from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  The event began with a roda from 6pm to 9pm on Friday night, June 19th at the Afro Brazilian Cultural Center in Montclair.  We held workshops on Saturday June 20th from 11am to 12 noon at the Montclair Art Museum with Capoeiristas of all levels and ages with Mestre Corcora, Mestre Pinga Fogo.  Saturday night after the Batizado we hosted a party at the Center for all graduates and guests.
